Finding that Great Recipe

Posted by moderator in Cooking Info (Monday January 30, 2006 at 3:21 pm)

Do you love to cook? Do you have a favorite dish or know of a dish that you just can’t remember or find the recipe for? Here are some tips on finding the recipe for that great dish that you would love to cook.

Most people guard their recipes like secret treasure. There are many people that have kept their recipes in their family for generation and if a recipe is lost it will be extremely disappointing. However if you are not searching for a secret family recipe and just want to find a great way to make a delicious dish then you will need to hit the internet to find what you are looking for.

Recipe databases are the craze and more and more people are sharing their recipes online then ever before. You might also want to check out the large cooking sites for information. Many large cooking sites have thousands of recipes for almost any type of meal and offer forums to talk to one another sharing great tips and tricks.

If you want a very specific recipe you might even have to pay for it. While pretty rare, some recipes do charge especially if the dish is very popular but not well know how to prepare it. So if you are looking for that great recipe, just search the internet.
